Thanks for sharing your experience, Ben. It's helpful to hear of your experiences in past cycles. Ben Cowen has also recently shared his past experiences. It's encouraging, even if some of us newbies are repeating some of the past "mistakes" you've expressed, because we see the way to the horizon.

I’ll take your advice and DCA once I feel that bitcoin is closer to $20,000.
The rest of my portfolio since purchasing near the highs in 2020 down 60% as I thought we were going to see a blow off top late in 2021, which never came, so I’m stuck with 2020 and 2021 prices so I will just HODL until I can get original investment back, then going to streamline my 25 alts (all top 50) to BTC, ETH , ADA, XRP, UNI, MATIC, MANA, SAND and LINK.
There are several other great projects I hesitate to drop, although as you stated, If I am spread out too thin among too many alts that YES I have a better chance of hitting those good licks, but the downside is that my dollar investment is much lower, resulting in much lower gain.
So larger Capitol alts in a smaller portfolio is my way to go as soon as I can capitulate with original investment or minor gain-then readjust my portfolio to match my growing knowledge in this crypto game.

Man the fear in the market is real! All the YouTubers are saying bear bear bear! $hitcoin is the market leader and with no utility, people treat it like a security and it runs with tech stocks🤣. I’m hoping utility tokens will keep the market afloat
good well-grounded comments Bitboy. thx. i hope people listen and do the DCA. from the fortune you made in crypto, could you ballpark for us the percentages coming from investing in trading tokens, investing in pre-release projects, and being a star on youtube. this is not fud. i fully respect the hard work and commitment and talent needed to identify good pre-release projects, and to build and grow a strong youtube channel. it's more that i'd like a reality check for someone who only does the investing in trading tokens part. not asking for private info. just ballpark percentages, say 20/30/50?

These market cycles are not hard to predict. We pretty much boom than bust every second year after presidential election and that right on target where we are now. Selling and locking in a tax write off if you lost money is not a bad idea, that’s how the sharks are hedging and then buying right back in. Don’t be so hard on yourself if you brought at top long term like bitboy said DCA will have you winning in the end but don’t count out cashing to stable coins and letting market dip lower to buy back in. When crypto gets mass adoption 1 or 2 cycles away all these prices will look like a joke

I have a side hustle that pays for my crypto investments and a full time job that pays for my bills. I don't borrow money for investing in crypto so i don't have to worry if the market goes up or down. I love watching your predictions because i visualize how much wealth i can have in the future if your prediction is right and it brings optimism to me. I'm aware that prediction doesn't always comes true and i have no issues with that because i don't owe any money to anyone. I am a HODLER and predictions inspire me to invest for my future.

Some grease advice here …. DCA and long term mind set…. Been telling co-workers that this idea of get rich quick idea isn't what crypto is about. Sure you will hear about that one guy that blast off on $20 of crypto but 99% of the people will never see that….
